From a modest beginning, Cindy Pogue has seen steady growth for her enterprise, Mountain Candies. At first, supplying several restaurants and gift shops from her kitchen, Mountain Candies soon outgrew two previous commercial locations and is now operating from a larger facility in the Enterprise Center on Highway 49 in Oakhurst, California.

At this location, Cindy has a large storage facility and candy kitchen where she still makes much of her own candy. To ensure flavor, Mountain Candies purchases their nuts and raisens from local growers in the heart of the agricultural region of California, the great San Joaquin Valley, and coats them while they are fresh.

Well known for their gourmet chocolates and candy, Mountain Candies also has a large selection of sugar-free products for those watching their sugar levels or dieting.

More than gourmet candies, the business has expanded to include gift baskets of gourmet snacks, honey, jams, salad dressings, coffees, teas and mugs. There is also a special bath and skin care products section.
